Nightlife is extremely difficult in SLC. The zoning regulation for bars makes it **** near impossible to walk between, turning bar-hopping into bike-hopping/pay for a taxi everytime-hopping. You know the other outcomes that may occur.

The regulation (no happy hours, zoning, etc), and limited licenses also make going out expensive for customers, everytime. When things are expensive, people do them less. And add in the inconvenience, the service industry suffers.

It shouldn't take me 20-25 minutes to get to the highway when I live less than 2 miles away from it. Main streets, such as one-ways, 700 East, the Temples etc, should be timed as to reduce the horror of driving to and from highways. I cringe everytime I even think about having to even begin driving in this city.
