Coordinate traffic lights and publicize how to use them
Some traffic lights are coordinated; more ought to be. Tell the public how, where, and when they are coordinated so we'll know how to plan travel. Is there one pattern for the morning and another for evening?

It shouldn't take me 20-25 minutes to get to the highway when I live less than 2 miles away from it. Main streets, such as one-ways, 700 East, the Temples etc, should be timed as to reduce the horror of driving to and from highways. I cringe everytime I even think about having to even begin driving in this city.

There is so much unnecessary "forced" idling due to lack of light synchronization AND failure to utilize "relaxed signals" during late night and early morning hours.

All lights can't be coordinated in all directions. But if I'm going from point A to point B at a certain time of day, how can I find out which streets to take and which to avoid?
