We lived in this neighborhood for six years. I loved the excitement of the ball games, the down to earth people (neighbors who really cared), and the easy convenience to the whole valley; however, it was not a good place to raise a family due to drugs and prostitution. Hopefully it has changed for the better. Poor people (like me) do not necessarily have poor ways. It will be a balancing challenge to revitalize and still keep it affordable for some of the poor.
