OpenDataSLC
Data on its own is not as helpful as it could be. To be truly useful, data needs to be sorted, analyzed, and transformed in new applications, visualizations, and stories. This forum can be used to add your ideas, discuss ideas with others and to make requests for new data sets on OpenDataSLC.

Traffic Signs, Traffic Signals, Traffic directions, Turn Restrictions data
The OpenStreetMap community is working to improve navigation data in the US to ensure safety for drivers on the road. We are looking for any data on turn restrictions, traffic signs and traffic signals, traffic directions that could be used as OpenData. The purpose is to get this data into Open Street Map to have safer driving directions in all applications that use it.

Can we view data about traffic stops by race, ethnicity, or gender?
This would be very useful for statistical research that one of my students is interested in.

Police Dispatch records
Thank you for this contact area. I'd love to see not just Dispatch records, but because there are times as members of the community that we need to verify a call we made to dispatch. I'd love to see the records for 2014 with time logs. This can really help us with resolve personal civil actions others bring against us. In doing so we will save the courts time, and valuable resources

Police calls 2015
I'd love to see a report showing all the police calls made in 2015, with clearly labeled fields, and showing whether a report was written.

Data on homelessness
I hear a ton about Salt Lake City's success in combating homelessness, but I don't see any data here to help me understand this story. I'd love to build a visualization and do some research here to promote SLC's innovation. Any data you guys have on homelessness and related service provision would be very valuable.
