More love for Great Salt Lake & Jordan River
The Great Salt Lake flyway hosts one of the major wildlife migrations in the world. Davis County hosts a nice bird festival, but in Salt Lake City the lake barely seems to exist. We have an astonishing natural wonder in our backyard and the City could benefit from a closer relationship with the lake. Maybe partner with Tracy Aviary, Hogle Zoo, FoGSL or UMNH to offer field-trips?

It is worse than that! SLC is currently destroying its largest, most valuable potential wildlife area with its illegal construction of the Regional Sports Complex right in the Jordan River flood plain by filling in over 100 acres of unmitigated wetlands!
