Bicycles as part of the UTA infrastructure, that is exactly what I have been thinking eversince I went to Washington D.C., this way we help people get healthier. I woulld also add the gas tax up more so people are more often riding the UTA! Its gonna get to be a better day as long as we can help ourselves to seeing it better.

A street car network throughout the city would be very effective in not only connecting downtown to the neighborhoods, but it would result in reduced vehicle miles traveled and the creation of more neighborhood retail and multi-family housing in more areas. Extend the proposed downtown streetcar along 100 or 200 S to 500 E (east downtown), south to 900 S, east to 11th E and south on 11th to connect with the Sugarhouse line. Lines runing from the Sugarhouse line to the East Downtown line along both 500 E and or 300 E.

I agree that this is very important check out this new project;
Salt Lake City is developing an on-road bicycle corridor between the University of Utah and the Central Business District. The project will transform 200 South into a multi-modal, public green space corridor. What are your thoughts on the proposed 200 South Bicycle Greenway?
