The 9 Line

The 9 Line will be new linear parkway within the old Union Pacific rail corridor that will provide a major pedestrian/ bicycle link connecting the citys east & west neighborhoods. This new parkway provides opportunities to create new community spaces and amenities in key locations along its route. This is a process of connecting and engaging citizens and communities to get involved and determine what the future of the 9 Line looks like.

    1. Tearout Jordan River Bridge and Save Wildlife

      Trail users can easily use the nearby bridge eliminating the need to run a trail right through the bend in the river - prime potential for badly needed wildlife habitat in that area.
